WHere is an easy take on a drink featured on our latest drinks list. It's a party-sized premix that is bursting with the tastes of a festive period, making it excellent for hosting a holiday party. Reserve the remaining syrup for morning drinks, sweets, or for additional servings of the drink.

Serves 10 guests
For the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
Making the Cordial: Place every items into a pan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the burner and leave to reach room temperature completely. Pour to a clean bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for around one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Mix the specified liquid ingredients into one large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then pass it through , ideally through a fine cloth, making it completely strained.
To serve: Add 85ml of your batch mix into your cocktail shaker containing ice, and agitate carefully for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain to a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with a few cranberries and complete it using a light spray of the essential oil over the drink.
